MiniMax H3 Omni Reference, explained

Omni Reference lets MiniMax H3 carry a character, product, movement, voice or visual style from your files into a new shot. Here are the limits, the rules and how to choose references that actually help.

Try Omni Reference

In short

  • Up to nine images, three video clips and three audio files — no more than twelve files in total.
  • An audio reference needs at least one image or video reference alongside it.
  • Durations of 5, 10 or 15 seconds at 768p or 2K, with synchronized audio.
  • Results are saved privately to your history and can be downloaded.

Choosing references

  • Images for identity: clear, well-lit views of the character or product.
  • Video clips for motion: a gesture, a dance move or a camera path.
  • Audio for voice or music cues — always paired with an image or video reference.

Prompting with references

Describe the new scene and point at what each reference should contribute.

Example
Use the person from the images and the dance move from the clip. She performs the move on a rooftop at sunset, wide shot, warm rim light, the reference music playing softly.

768p or 2K?

Use 768p while you are adjusting references and wording; render the keeper at 2K, the highest resolution available for MiniMax H3 here.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use only audio as a reference?
